Please be aware of the increase in scam emails that are circulating at the moment.

Below is one example of such emails that you may have seen or may come accross in future:

Dear ...,

Crime affects us all. This is why NCF Crimefighters Helpline volunteers would like to ask for your help.

“Community Crime Fighters” was setup by the Home Office in 2008 for volunteers to suggest solutions to community crime problems.

To help our volunteers would you be so kind as to consider making an award using the attached Standing Order donation slip PDF or by Direct Transfer.

If you, or anyone you know receives such a request for money and bank details, could you please advise the Community Safety Partnership - communitysafety@nsdc.info .

Never to give bank details out to anyone you do not know who makes such an approach.
